Training Using Improv

Below are the key areas which Jess Rogers Leadership Training focuses on through improv training:

Storytelling

Storytelling is a skill which can help you build great scenes. In the working world it can be used to engage others, bring to life a presentation or pitch, help people through change and share expertise. These sessions help participants understand the structure of a good story, how to make it compelling and help them to present it brilliantly.

Thinking on your feet

This classic improv skill is so relevant to all of our lives. For most of us, we don’t have a script to work to, we have to make it up as we go along. These sessions help you think more quickly in the moment, helping you to feel more in control when everything feels out of control, and bring the best of yourself to every situation, even if you couldn’t prepare.

Teamwork

In improv, you can’t walk on stage with a group of people and make up a play if you don’t all have each other’s backs. The same is true for business, life is much harder when you don’t have a team which supports you fully. These sessions help you to tune into your team better, connect with them more, support them whatever happens and build better work together.

Innovation

Nothing says free thinking like improv. Improv makes you remove filters from our everyday lives and be more creative. This one off session is a great way to get your team into an innovative mindset before you need them to innovate and think creatively.
